Howl to the moon!

Coyote Kiva is a community of artists, poets, dreamers, howlers, storytellers, peacemakers, and wind dancers. Some call down lightning. Some weave dreams across the sky. Some sing the dawn song. Some whisper love stories to the twilight. All believe we belong to Earth and Sky. This is an international community, with members from diverse backgrounds and world experiences. The Coyote Kiva welcomes all who seek to create a better planet through a broad worldview, cultural understanding, and mutual respect.

OPEN SEAT

New this week!
Winter comes home

Winter has swept down from the high peaks, making Coyote long for the hot springs cave, where old bones feel young and song bounces off Gnomes' Milk formations in playful echoes. Short days, long nights, good friends, and long books until spring...

Welcome the newest addition to the Coyote Kiva, the Orion Mountaineering Club, a group of totally mad rock climbers, cliff huggers, and assorted wilderness-lovers based in Scotland.

Art Goodtimes, a.k.a. Thunderbear, has a fabulous new book of poetry out: “As If the World Really Mattered.” To see editorial commentary and praise, visit La Alameda Press. Joan Logghe says of Art's book, “I read the notes and Intro first because I couldn't resist. I emerge from the attendant poems under the influence, my consciousness lifted to places I needed to go, big time, thanks to Goodtimes.”

Just in time for Christmas, Red Rock Press has published Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer's sweet and lyrical new book, “More Christmas Angels.” Tis a fine work by a beautiful poet!
